If your child is unwell

It can be a worrying time when our babies and children are unwell, it can sometimes be difficult to work out what we can manage ourselves and when to get help. Many common childhood illnesses can be treated at home with support from your health visitor or pharmacist.

The Pharmacy

Pharmacists can give quick advice on minor childhood illnesses, small injuries and medicines. They can help with things like coughs, colds and nappy rash, and tell you which over the counter treatments are safe for your child — and when it’s best to see a doctor.
